28th March was Ris engagement and it went smoothly.. Even though it was a simple event, with glitches here and there, i'm glad that they are officially engaged.
Before we headed to her crib, Moose, Kin and I went to T3 to collect Ris's cake from Secret Recipe... The day didn't start off really well for me coz I had go through a battle... BATTLE OF MR. ROACH! Haha..

Gosh.. I'm Cockroach-phobic.. And for that, I got a good scolding from Moosie coz he was driving and I was being a nuisance in the car trying to avoid contact with the roach. Well, Moosie tried to kill the roach but it ended up in my skirt... And I kind of wept, and sigh... Moosie had to stop the car and we tried to find the roach which was missing a leg.....And it couldn't be found!
Kin, who was seated at the back of the car was unaware that the roach made its way at the back seat... Eh.. She freaked out too okay.. haha...Well, the roach was only killed by Moosie 5hrs after that happens.... And he simply SQUASHED the roach by Hand... BARE HANDS... EEeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...

We spent the day watching Confessions of a Shopaholic,(again, the book is better) and jalan2 at CWP....

Afterwhich we had to pick Kin and met with the newly engaged couple Ris n Mimi for Sheesha and makan later at night. Kin wasn't feeling too well and was kind of down.. Moose, mimi n ris enjoyed the night talking and laughing non stop about ghost lah and dunno what else... I couldn't really hear coz I was attending and talking to the sick girl instead of the B'dae boy... Haha...


5th April..

Bibik had a promotion at her workplace and she gave us a huge TREAT!

Place : Gayathri Restaurant at Race Course Rd

Food : Fish head Curry, Tandoori Chix, Naan Bread,Potatoes, some weird mouth cleanser...

Drinks: Lime Juice!!!

I filled my ever hungry tummy.. And was fed even more...

Putri Nadia, bibik's youngest. (I look almost like her in my younger days)

Afterwhich we headed over to Marina Barrage to chill and lepak.. Bro n family had to go home since Tyara is feeling all grumpy and start her antiques. Bade farewell to them at 8pm.

I came late to Barrage as we had to park a distance away as the carpark is full. Nyai had to brace her athritis and rheumatism and walk slowly to Barrage from where we parked.

As soon as we reached, Akmal had gotten wet from 'swimming'... From what bibik said, there were worms crawling around the 'pool'.. Ish.. Boys will be boys.. They hoisted one by one up and threw them into the pool. I thought that I would be spared but alas.. that didn't happen.. Called it a day at 10 pm and headed home all squishy-squashy. Hehe

But I had fun thou.. FAMILY REUNION.
